The Stars and Stripes.

Often times, when you look at the casualty number of a war, it just seems like a number. But, by researching a soldier, I was able to see the life of an average soldier. Instead of just a casualty number, this was a man with a wife and family, people that loved him. This makes me far more grateful for the sacrifices soldiers made for me in WWII, and the ones they still make for me today. If I could talk to Park today, I would thank him for giving his life for me. I would tell him that I would do anything not to lose that freedom, so his sacrifice wasn't in vain. The most valuable source I could find was from the National Personnel Records Center.
